Onome Ebi has undergone a successful right arm surgery, following the injury she sustained during the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations.
The FC Minsk defender, was taken to the National Hospital in Abuja, after she arrived in the country following the Super Falcons’ 1-0 win over Cameroon on Saturday.
“Thank you Lord God for safe surgery, receive all thy glory in Jesus name amen,” Ebi wrote on her Instagram.
Although no timescale has been put on the 33-year-old’s recovery, she looks set to miss the first quarter of 2017.
