Magu's Rejection: ‎Buhari waiting to receive official report from Senate – Presidency

The Presidency last night said that President Muhammadu Buhari was yet to be officially briefed by the Senate on why it rejected the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.



Recall that the Senate on Thursday refused to confirm the appointment of Magu, worse still rejected his nomination.

Reacting to the development, the Presidency through the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina told newsmen that the president was awaiting an official report from Senate.

“The Senate says it will communicate with d President officially. We need to let it come”, he said.
