LMC boss Shehu Dikko shares plans for coming NPFL season (VIDEO)



League Management Company chairman and NFF's 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko says the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League season will experience an improvement on how the league fared last season.


Dikko who was recently named 'The Sun Newspaper Sports Personality of the year 2016 has come out to talk to the Nigeria Football Federation Youtube Channel.

According to the Kaduna state  born football administrator who has been described as cerebral, energetic, passionate, multi –talented, diligent, painstaking, a perfectionist and an innovator per excellence. has come out to state that LMC is working on improving on areas where lapses were identified in the 2015/2016 NPFL season.

Dikko who has been showered lots of encomiums following the giant strides the league has attained in recent times, believes if football is well supported it can create over 500,000 jobs and has appealed to state governments and the federal government to improve on the quality of sporting facilities across the country and if possible build more football stadia.

Even his fiercest critics (they are very few) agree with the overwhelming view that Dikko has set a very high standard for whoever will come after him to head the League
Management Company.

The easy–going administrator earned a first degree in quantity surveying before a master’s degree in cost engineering, a post –graduate degree in management and a Master of Business Administration. He became Chairman of the League Management Company 23 months ago.
