Former Minister of Education and convener of #Bringbackourgirls campaign has reacted to how the Senate declined to confirmation of  Ibrahim Magu as EFCC Chairman.


In a series of tweets, Ezekwesili blasted the Senate saying the senators need to get wisdom.

She tweets: “WE are waiting, @bukolasaraki and @NGRSenate . You have to make that your Security Report public cos Transparency is the BEST ANTIDOTE.

“The witch cried last night and the child died today.... @bukolasaraki and @NGRSenate You all need to GET WISDOM. No CITIZEN is fooled here.

“If there is ANY TRUTH to your Security-Report anchored decision to decline confirmation of Magu @officialEFCC , CITIZENS MUST KNOW or.....

“WE should ALL be interested in KNOWING. Citizens's Right to Know is highest in a situation where an Anti-Corruption Czar is himself accused”

  5. If you need the report, request for it officially and not on social media. No need for quarrels here. DSS has not denied the report and you don't desire Magu more than Buhari who wanted him confirmed. Buhari has the power to order DSS to copy him the report. So why are you crying more than the bereaved? If it's corruption that's fighting back, let it be for checks and balances. Jobless Nigerians.
