Bruce warns Buhari: Don’t waste 2017 blaming previous administration

In an obvious reference to President Muhammadu Buhari’s perceived penchant for blaming the Jonathan administration for Nigeria’s woes, Ben Murray Bruce has advised the Federal Government not to “waste time” blaming the previous administration if the nation must not witness “economic collapse.”

Bruce is the senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, Bayelsa State, on the platform of PDP.

Taking to his twitter account on Friday, Bruce had written: “As 2017 approaches let me warn that if we waste it blaming previous admins as we did 2016, we will move from recession to economic collapse!”

This is the tweet:

  2. If irresponsible and unethical people like Ben Bruce would repay billions of Naira loans back and his looters buddies does same to the Federal Treasury,Buhari won't have excuses because money would be available to run the economy

  3. Weda you like the man or not, weda you hate what he stands for or not. His message is simple but true. We have wasted d better part of nearly two years blaming past governments for doing nothing. Okay since we know the problems, at what point do we intend to fix dem.

This blame game only goes to show how incompetent the government of the day is. No wise man waste time counting his losses. Rather he sets out to gather them back.

  5. These looters in the house still demand for constituency allowance. What were they doing with the one they use to collect before, in each local government they choose four people, buy grinding machine, a freezer, then one okada motorbike. They distribute it to their party members that was how the eighty million was spent. No chairs in school they don't care just to by a bullet proof car. Mr Bruce stop talking and pay back the loan you got, even Dan gone should pay back his loan.

  7. These 1st two comments are useless talk from useless people. That is why you people supported bad people till you gave us recession. Now APC is driving us to depression and you are attaching Ben Bruce. What is your business with whether water is provided in bayelsa or not? Tell your president to return Nigeria where he met it if he can't do more to improve it.

  8. Buhari has brought great changes in Nogeria. The death rate has jumped. Hunger in the land knows no bounds. Never in the history of Nigeria, have things been this bad. Buhari is an unmitigated disaster, totally bereft of any form of managerial acumen and completely deaf to informed advice. Nigerians must brace themselves for worse 2017!
