We will not submit ourselves to the dictates of Nigerian government even unto death – Shi’ite

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, has vowed that its member would not respect the laws of the Federal Government even if it means them paying the ultimate price.

A leader of the group, Sunusi Koki said this during the burial of some members of the movement killed in during a clash between the police.

Describing the deceased as martyrs, Koki, who conducted the funeral in Kano challenged other members to stand up for their rights.

Koki said, “Every living being will eventually pass away, but the important pride is, at what cause did you pass away.

“Those whom we have laid here have indeed succeeded. They are victorious because they followed the very footsteps of Imam Husain (AS) who was massacred alongside his followers, for not surrendering himself to the dictate, wish and whims of Yazid Bin Mu’awuya.

“As followers of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, we shall never submit ourselves to the dictates of the Nigerian government even if our own lives will be taken away by the forces of its security agents.”

  1. Go and look for your country then. This is Nigeria You must. For the avoidance of doubts if Buhari government can't contain this people, other groups will spring up. This how boko haram started. No religion or sect is above the law of the land. My religion told me to obey constituted authorities. If you guys take law into your hand and others do likewise, then anarchy will be instituted. When you practice your religion think about the rights of other people, that makes you a human being
