Using DSS to stabilize the naira will make it worse - Murray-Bruce

Following the DSS raid on Bureau de Change shops, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has warned that the Naira may crash lower.

In a post on social network, Murray-Bruce wrote, ''Money is a coward. The more we frighten money the more it will run away from Nigeria. Raiding financial institutions is not a good sign! We must allow the Naira find its true value by leaving it to market forces to determine where it should be. If the DSS raids continue on BDCs we will see a very massive capital flight from Nigeria and the resultant effect on the Naira will be worse than what the DSS is trying to prevent.''
