Officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have assured that they have received approval for $10,000 bonus to be paid to each Super Eagles player, for their victories against Zambia and Algeria.

However, the monies will be transferred into their accounts.

Each member of the squad is expected to be paid N350,000 as training camp allowance for the Algeria game, after it was increased from N20,000 to N50,000 for each day.

They also got cash for a return ticket of Lagos-Abuja.

“We have got the approval for their bonuses, which will be paid into the accounts,” a top official informed AfricanFootball.

However, it was not ascertained if the money will be paid in US dollars as the team have demanded or in local currency.

Nigeria defeated the Desert Warriors 3-1 in their second 2018 World Cup qualifying game on Saturday, to boost their chances of playing in the tournament to be hosted by Russia.
