Senate seek removal of age bracket, years of experience as requirements for unemployed Nigerians

Nigerian Senate today during plenary moved the motion to do away with the requirements of age bracket and years of experience that denies most unemployed Nigerians the opportunity to get jobs.

This was revealed through tweets from the official handle of the Nigerian Senate. In addition, a call was made for a state of emergency to be declared on unemployment in Nigeria as well as unemployment benefits for unemployed Nigerians.

A resolution was also made to invite the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, to provide insight into government’s roadmap towards tackling unemployment in the country.

  1. The senate has no work. N busybody de worry them. They should be more concerned in policies and legislations that can stimulate the economy hence making more jobs available.
Why border with age limit? Affidavits has taken care of that or else you wants to push those in charge of affidavit out of business. Hahahaha!
    May God help us.

  3. The senator made a good motion. It is an offence not to employ Nigerians on the ground of no experience, in the middle east, it is mandatory for private companies to employ and train the nationals irrespective of experience or age. Same should be signed in Nigeria as it's been moved as motion by the senator amd ne taken seriously with private organizations with government body regular inspirations without our officials taking bribes.
