Russian league giants, Spartak Moscow, are understood to be handing out trials to Nigeria Professional Football League top scorer, Godwin Obaje.
The Wikki Tourists of Bauchi talismanic forward scored 18 goals in the concluded 2015/2016 NPFL to be crowned the goal king of the Nigeria domestic league.
Obaje departed the shores of Nigeria last week to seek a career lift into the European League with Spartak coaches taking a look at the 19-year-old forward.
"Obaje is currently in Europe, specifically in Russia where he is trying out with Spartak Moscow," Alhaji Isah Matori, chairman of the club hinted Completesportsnigeria.com on Monday.
"It is our prayer for him to succeed. If he does, it will be for the good of the player and the club, Wikki tourist as a whole."
