The pre-season NPFL Super 4 will be staged in Enugu between December 7 and 11, officials have announced.
Champions Enugu Rangers, runners-up Rivers United, Federation Cup winners FC IfeanyiUbah as well as Wikki Tourists, who finished third in the league this past season, will feature in this tournament aimed at preparing them for international football next year.
Rangers and Rivers United will represent Nigeria in next year’s CAF Champions League, while IfeanyiUbah and Wikki will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup.
"We are excited that the Enugu State Government has agreed to host the tournament because the people of Enugu State are true football fans," said chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko.
