Ndume, other senators storm EFCC cell for arrested Jonathan's men

On Tuesday, Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria led by Senator Ali Ndume visited loyalists of former President Goodluck Jonathan who are currently being held by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Ndume was accompanied by Senator Teslin Folarin; Senate Minority Whip, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, Senator Ali Wakil, and Senator Isa Misau.

Those visited include former Spokesperson to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan campaign Organisation, Femi Fani- Kayode, former minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, former presidential spokesperson, Dr. Reuben Abati and former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, (FCTA), Senator Bala Mohammed.

During the visit, the Senators gave the accused words of encouragement, solidarity, just as they expressed concern and worry over what the detained persons were going through in the hands of the officials of the EFCC.

    our senators are a disgrace to this nation Why should senators that are being paid by tax payers pay solidarity visit to persons being investigated for corruption, some of them has accepted collecting this money. What a shame, especially, from APC senators.
