Oil mogul Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has doled out 15 million Naira to his victorious team after they made history by winning this year’s Federation Cup.
He rewarded the players with 10 million Naira, while officials will share three million Naira and the supporters will receive two million Naira.
The Nnewi club won their first major trophy after two years in the Nigeria premier league when they defeated Nasarawa United 5-4 on penalties after a goalless draw in 90 minutes.
‘The Anambra Warriors’ will represent Nigeria in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Beaten finalists Nasarawa United were rewarded with a cash gift of 200,000 Naira each and a plot of land by Nasarawa State Government.
