FC Ifeanyiubah Appoint Japanese, Ghanaian Coaches



Federation Cup winners, FC IfeanyiUbah, have appointed Japanese Kenechi Yatsuhashi as their new head coach.


Former Ghanaian international Yaw Preko has also been appointed new assistant coach and physical trainer of the  Anambra Warriors.

Yatsuhashi is a Japanese-American coach who has recently handled Ghanaian club Accra Hearts of Oak.

He holds a USSFA and a national youth coaching license, a CONCACAF international coaching licence, an NSCAA goalkeeping diploma and a KNVB advanced diploma.

Preko joined the Nnewi-based side from Hearts of Oak where he was acting head coach.

Former IfeanyiUbah head coach Mitko Dobrev has been promoted to the position of technical director.

Dobrev's former assistant, Rafeal Everton  has been offered to retain his position as assistant coach.

The Brazilian has also been offered a new role as head coach, youth development  of FC IfeanyiUbah Football Academy by the management of the club.
