The infighting which caused Nigeria supporters not to fly out with the Super Eagles for this month’s World Cup qualifier in Zambia appears to have been resolved.
According to a communiqué jointly issued by both warring factions of the Supporters’ Club, they have resolved their differences at the instance of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Among other decisions taken during the reconciliation meeting, new executives will be elected on December 10 and their constitution will be amended to be more inclusive.
It was also agreed that the congress will reverse the impeachment of acting national chairman Vincent Okumagba and he will in turn formally apologise to the chairman board of trustees.
