Tinubu, SGF plot to send APC National Chairman 'Oyegun' on exile

Bola Tinubu, National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC working with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal to remove the party’s National Chairman, John Oyegun.

They are reportedly planning to send Oyegun on an 'ambassadorial' exile.

Vanguard reports that they are planning to make Oyegun an ambassador in a bid to quietly shove him aside. The duo are reportedly lobbying President Muhammadu Buhari on their side. If Oyegun is made an ambassador, his influence on National politics will automatically wane.

Tinubu and Lawal are reportedly angry with Oyegun over the party’s insistence to pick Yahaya Bello over Abiodun Faleke, as its governorship candidate in Kogi State after the demise of Prince Abubakar Audu.
