Protesters invade Supreme Court, demand arrested judges to step aside

Protesters on Wednesday marched to the Supreme Court of Nigeria asking all judges arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) to step aside pending the outcome of their trials in court.

Reporters, who were at the spot, said the protesters carried placards with various inscriptions such as: “Stop corruption before it stops you,” “Don’t get it twisted, Judiciary is not on trial, only corrupt officials are,” among others.
