French side Olympique Marseille are pondering a move for Chelsea star Mikel Obi when the January transfer window opens.
The Nigeria captain international is yet to feature for Chelsea this term and has reportedly fallen out of favour with manager Antonio Conte.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Marseille see Mikel as a quality replacement for the injured Abou Diaby.
Mikel is in the final year of his contract with Chelsea and is free to hold talks with other teams when the January transfer window opens.
The 29-year-old has spent 10 years with the Blues, making well over 350 appearances.
