Kumuyi urges Nigerians to support Buhari in ending recession

The General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari Administration’s efforts to end recession.

Kumuyi who was represented by the State Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Federal Capital Territory, Pastor Joshua Esho, stated this during a media interaction in view of the forthcoming crusade with theme, ‘Emancipation Crusade’ on October 30, 2016 at the National Stadium, Abuja.

He said: “We are passing through recession but it will not continue forever because God Himself will solve every problem.

“I am still reiterating what I have said about the policies of this government and this administration came in not up to two years, Nigerians should exercise patience with the Buhari-led government and is not late because they have not done half of their tenure, rather we are to cooperate with them.

“I don’t think criticism is what this government needs now. If people have suggestions they can write them in papers and send to them, and also cooperate with them. I believe they will be successful because God has something for this country.

“We also declare that FCT being the heart of the nation where the Emancipation Crusade will hold there is spiritual freedom, economic bounce back and new horizon of hope for our dear country, Nigeria. Our getting out of the dark tunnel of recession is very close, and there is nothing to worry about.”

The clergy also assured residents on the crusade and said that God will greatly manifest his supernatural wonders and break every bond of sin and all wickedness. He described the crusade as mother of all crusades held in FCT.

“We as a church believe in this great manifestation of God to break the bounds of sin and all wickedness and set the people free from every yoke upon their lives as they approach the New Year. The participants will be more than June 26 and September 30 crusades and this will be the mother of all crusades.

“We can hear the joy of freedom at the National Stadium come Sunday October 30, 2016. We assure the people that this day and date will remain unforgettable and a time of outpouring of God’s supernatural power upon them”, he added.

He also highlighted ongoing preparation for the crusade and logistics put in place to ensure a huge success of the crusade.

“We are expecting participants from the 10 regions that make the Deeper Life Bible Church in the FCT, which include Abuja, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Lugbe Karmo, Kubwa, Kuje, Kwali, Nyanya, and Orozo. Already the church has made adequate transportation for them.

“The security of the venue is guaranteed as all relevant security agencies will be on ground to carry out protection of life and property in and outside the main bowl of the stadium. Also vehicular movement will be properly coordinated by the respective traffic agencies.

“Our medical team is also going to be present at strategic points to attend to urgent medical issues. And we want to make mention that all participants will be thoroughly screened before gaining entrance into the venue”, he stated.

  2. @Anonymous Oct. 26, 8:47pm. All these things you see today no be church. They are just Christian sects just like you have sets in other religion. One common characteristics is that they all come up with strange ideologies and doctrines. They also indoctrinate and brainwash their followers. Forget about the word church that is attached to their names. This is why the problem is even dire now.
    So be guided.

  4. All I know all of you who condemn cannot perform better if you are given the opportunity to govern even a local government not to talk of a whole nation. You expect the man of God to criticise, condemn and crucify the government when the bible clearly states we should pray for those in authority. You expect him to incite the public into war or anarchy? If there is no church why don't you establish one?
