Islamic cleric states 2 reasons why Aisha Buhari should be arrested over BBC interview

At Jamaatul Izalatul Bid’ah Mosque in Farm Centre, Kano, Shiek Ismail Illyasu Mangu spoke to the thousands of worshipers immediately after the Jumaat prayer.

Citing two reasons, he called on security agencies to arrest the first lady “because her interview is capable of inciting millions of Nigerians against her husband.

He noted that the interview is capable of inciting violence in the country and constitutes a threat to collective peace.

“We are sad about the interview granted by the wife of the President. We believe that opposition members in the country are using her against the government. Her statement is unfair and capable of inciting violence (first). It is a threat to the peace of the country (second) and we do hope the security agencies will immediately arrest her.

“We believed that some ungrateful elements in the country are using the wife of the president to tarnish the image of the president and the country. Nigerians are not in her support. ”

    1. Thanks for your comment. The woman merely stated the truth. I am with her on this. Buhari should be ashamed of his comment, while he stood next to Angela Merkel who happens to be a woman. End time cleric.

    By the way, we are in a democratic dispensation. Just as you have d freedom of speech to air the gabbage you call word's, so also does she have d same right to air her own views.

  11. Christians presents their arguments from the perspective of there religion, and often times, their convenience. For example, the Bible never condemned the covering of the hair, nor did it advocated the cutting of the beard or the drinking of bear. In fact the Bible advocated for the covering of the hair and condemned the cutting of the beard and the consumption of alcohol, yet Christians chose what to obey and what not to depending on what Islam is against. In any public discuss, they are 99% likely to support a side that is against Islam even if by so doing they go against their own religion. What an ideology.

    Now back to the discussion here. What is the truth is relative. But for the word of Allah, there is no absolute truth, nor is there absolute false. Arguments appear to have effect on others based on their appeal, not their truthfulness. Take for example the claim here that Aisha Buhari says the truth; it is a fallacy. If she says the problem of this government is the South East, many would say it is a lie. But some people (who wanted that) would say she is saying the truth. I repeat, the quality of truthfulness in a statement is just based on appeal and nothing more.

    Finally, if arguments are to be meaningful, they must educate and give a clear position of the discussants. The cleric offered a very good basis for his advice. He sited the need to prevent a breach of public peace which is certain to lead to the breakdown of law and order. He highlighted a breach of protocol in the communication and advised the authorities to arrest a situation capable of causing rumblings in the society. If you disagree with him, put forth your own arguments and support them with reason. If your arguments are appealing, they may be taken as the truth. Rather than argue objectively, Christians, as typical of their behavior, veered into attacking Islam because by default, that is their inkling. When Islam is concerned, their reasoning take a flight off their heads and they speak only as they think fit to demonize Islam forgetting that Islam is growing from strength to strength despite the world propaganda against it. Allahu Akbar.

    1. Mr Adoke. You have to understand that Christianity is not a religion but a way of life "One that is free of bondage". What we preach is simple " love your neighbour as yourself and do unto other what you wish others to do unto you" Every other thing is useless without LOVE. This love is what we preach to Muslims and the whole world. This is why we do not kill people who do not accept this love and we do not force anyone to accept this love. But trust me when I say you will truly feel freedom in your spirt when you accept this love. God bless you Mr Adoke.

      Please, stop the comparison of Christianity with Islam. We are not competing with you guys.

  13. All you condemning this man....just wait for your own wife to go out and say something bad about you and incite public revolt against you...then u will understand what it means to be betrayed by a woman who should ordinarily be under your authority. ....If she can no longer be submissive to the man's will then she should leave the marriage before coming out to make such demeaning comments against her husband

  14. Every one is entitled to his opinion. Ordinarily the woman is a betrayal to his husband. Perhaps she thought it will be the same ball game as usual, Thhis is period of recession greedy woman;

  15. Mr Adoke I am a Christian and can competently tell u that there are more arguments presented with malicious attack from Muslims than these are from Christians, but two wrongs don't make a right so don't be conclusive that Christians always do things one way or the other always against Muslins or Islam rather u should address the point of d speaker. May God almighty continue to guide us. Cheers.

  16. She is a mother and she's talking from a motherly point of view. No good mother will be happy to see her child or children suffer! A good mother will ever defend her children from a wicked father. That's the situation of the country now. Nigerians are the presidents wife's children and she has done nothing wrong to say what she said.
