Federation Cup: Crown FC Appeal Disqualification

Crown FC have appealed a decision to award their Federation Cup semi-final to FC IfeanyiUbah.


The Federation Cup semi-final in Kaduna was abandoned after 88 minutes following a pitch invasion.

The NFF disciplinary committee has since awarded the game to IfeanyiUbah, who were leading 2-1 before the clash was abandoned.

But Crown have now appealed this ruling.

“If it took only Crown FC to stand up to injustice, decay and unprofessionalism and favouritism we shall do that for we know posterity would someday judge each person accordingly,” declared a top Crown FC official.
