Crime Bursters demand 20 million Naira from Enugu Rangers for illegally transferred player

Nationwide club Crime Bursters have demanded the sum of N20 million from the league champions, Rangers, for the improper transfer of one of their players, Offorka Ezeugwu.

In a letter to Rangers from the Maduabuchi Chambers headed by Ray Nnaji, the Nationwide club alleged that Ezeugwu was not properly cleared by Rangers and as such deprived the club of making use of his services for the past season.

Ray Nnaji said that as a result of “this illegality” Rangers should now pay Crime Bursters the sum of N20 million as compensation.

The letter made it very clear that should Rangers fail to comply with this demand, Crime Bursters will have no choice but to take their case to the League Management Company (LMC) as well as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
