Wife of Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) Governor, Mrs Margaret Emefiele, kidnapped some 24 hours before, has been released by her abductors.


According to family sources she was rescued “due to the gallantry of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Forces”, in Ugoneki near Benin City and is currently recuperating in Government House,
Asaba.

  2. The threat of abduction or kidnap still looms if those behind the heinous crime are not rounded up. On that note therefore, the public would are all ears on that detail. The overwhelming forces deployed in the heroic operation was for no other reason than the status of just one of the victims- the CBN governor's wife. If it were else person in the lower wrung of our social strata, there might have been no eyebrows raised. So let the various security agency's spokesperson announce to us details of arrests made, if any. Once again kudos to the gallantry of the security agents!!!
