Zambia Name Squad For 2018 World Cup Qualifying Clash Against Super Eagles


Zambia coach, Wedson Nyirenda, has released a 33-man provisional list of players for next month's Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.


Top on the list are captain Rainford Kalaba, veteran goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, Collins Mbesuma and Stoppilla Sunzu.

The list  is dominated by players from local side Zesco United who have seven players in the squad.
There is no place for  Zamalek forward Emmanuel Mayuka in the squad.
The Chipolopolo will host the Super Eagles on October 9 at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium, Ndola.

THE FULL SQUAD

Goalkeepers: Jacob Banda, Kennedy Mweene, Rocha Kola

Defenders: Lawrence Chungu, Fackson Kabumbu, Simon Silwimba, Adrian Chama, Kabaso Chongo, Ziyo Tembo, George Chilufya, Stoppila Sunzu, Bily Mutale, Malama Donashano.

Midfielders: Charles Zulu, Fwayo Tembo, Rainford Kalaba, Chota Chama, John Chin'gandu, Jack Chirwa, Mischeck Chaila, Richard Kasonde, Nathan Sinkala, Rodrick Kabwe, Mwape Mwelwa, Chisamba Lungu.

Strikers: Justin Shonga, Jackson Mwanza, Kalengo Winstone, Lewis Macha, Patson Daka, Collins Mbesuma.
