Leicester City manager, Claudio Ranieri , wants Ahmed Musa to show more understanding of the English game despite his good performance in Tuesday's English Football League Cup defeat to Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.
Musa was handed his second start this season in the encounter since making an £18m move from CSKA Moscow and was impressive before he was replaced by Jamie Vardy as the Foxes lost 4-2 to Chelsea after extra time.
"For us, that is good, and Ahmed Musa must understand much better the Premier League, but it is okay. For me it is important to develop all the squad and not just the 14 players.
"We have a chance to go through to the next round but it wasn’t possible, but it is okay," Ranieri told reporters after the game.
"We have to work more and more to give them 90 minutes because when I need them they must be fit 100 percent."
Musa is expected to feature again when Leicester City battle Manchester United in an early kick-off league match on Saturday. He has made four appearances for the Foxes so far this term.
