Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has penned a new long-term contract with his boyhood club.
The deal had been agreed between the two parties as far back as May, but lacked the final signatures.
Busquets will now remain with the Blaugrana until 2021, with an additional option to extend with the club until 2023.
The news will come as lift for the 28-year-old, who left the pitch with a knock early in the second half of Barcelona's clash with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening.
