Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has become the 16th player in the history of the English Premier League (EPL), to score 10 goals before he turns 20.
According to the Premier League’s official website, Iheanacho who is 19 years, 11 months and 14 days “is the oldest of the select group of teenagers to have reached double digits” before they turned 20.
Iheanacho achieved this feat, when he scored in their 4-0 win over Bournemouth last Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
The Super Eagles player, who also scored in the Manchester Derby six weeks ago, also becomes the first City player to achieve the feat.
More incredibly, his 10 goals have come from just 14 of his shots on target in 30 Premier League appearances.
Iheanacho has recently been given an extended run in the first team, after Sergio Aguero has handed a three-match suspension, for elbowing West Ham’s Winston Reid.
