In-form Kelechi Iheanacho has hailed Manchester City’s perfect start to the UEFA Champions League this season.
The Citizens smashed Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 in their opening Group C match at the Etihad Stadium with Sergio Aguero firing his second hat-trick of the campaign.
Iheanacho who wrapped up the win with a 90th minute goal, his first in the Champions League in his sixth appearance in the competition, took to Twitter to commend his team’s sterling performance.
“Great result and great team performance from the team,” the Nigeria forward wrote on Twitter.
Iheanacho has scored twice so far this term in all competitions and is expected to play a part in City’s clash against Bournemouth on Saturday.
