Hudahuda to launch Buhari’s biography on October 3

A biography on President Muhammadu Buhari will be launched on Oct. 3 at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The book, entitled “The Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria’’, is written by Prof. John Paden, a notable Don of International Studies, George Mason University, America.

The book, published by Hudahuda Publishing Company, chronicled the struggle and career of the President until May 29, 2016.

Some of the personalities expected at the occasion include the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Tinubu, and the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu.

Others are Nigeria’s former United Nations Permanent Representative, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and former U.S Ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell.

Buhari, a retired Maj.- Gen. in the Nigerian Army, was born on Dec. 17, 1942.

He served as the nation’s Head of State from Dec. 31, 1983 to Aug. 27, 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état.

He unsuccessfully ran for the office of President in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 general elections.

In Dec. 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the March 2015 general elections.

Buhari won the election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

This marked the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost to an opposition candidate in a general election.

He was sworn in on 29 May 2015.

What DIRTY biography, at the point where the country has to sell it's national asset just to keep the the country running..something Jonathan with the whole corruption ascribed to his name was able to do with his eyes closed ,As if that was not enough Got our Gdp to be highest in the whole of African nations.. and then a clueless man with corruption mantra who happens to lie at anytime national issues are addressed, uses Efcc and Dss against anyone that does not agree with him,How did we even choose a man who can not even express himself in simple English language he now drives the country to dark ages and everyone is afraid to talk..i feel the Senate should institute a committee called 'presidential correctors' whose job wld be to slap each presidents when they start misbehaving, because right now all the president needed is someone to slap sense into him..

  2. Hope the book will reflect the current hardship starvation hopelessness in the land and how the government"signorance incompetence cluelessness and sadistic leadership has brought Nigeria to this terrible state in less than two years of this APC misadventure.. Useless story tellers and praise singers. Nigerians are dying of hunger and they are talking frivolities. It shows a government that does not care about even the lives of its citizens.
