#EdoDecides: Governor Ambode is not in Edo – Lagos commissioner

The Lagos State government has denied claims by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, that the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, is in Benin.



According to the state government, although Ambode was the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress’ campaign in the state, he is not in the state.

The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, said this in an interview with TVC.

Ize-Iyamu had expressed concern about the alleged presence of both governors while also accusing the APC of using security operatives to intimidate PDP supporters.
