The Super Falcons of Nigeria will know their group opponents on Sunday 18th, September 2016, when the official draw for the 10th edition of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations will hold.
This year's AWCON will hold in Cameroon from 19 November – 3 December 2016 in Yaounde and Limbe.
The draw is billed for the Palais Polyvalent des Sports, Yaounde by 4:00pm local time.
Eight countries; hosts Cameroon, champions Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Egypt, Mali, Zimbabwe and Kenya will be drawn in two groups which will comprise four teams.
Cameroon are seeded in Group A while Nigeria are Group B top seed.
Two teams from each of the groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
Seven-time champions, Super Falcons, won the last edition of the AWCON in Namibia, beating Cameroon 2-0 in the final.
