The Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, has suspended the Abuja-Kaduna train service because of the upcoming Eid el-Kabir public holidays.
Alhaji Yakub Mahmood, the Deputy Director, Public Relations of the NRC, said authorities would also use the period to carry out a comprehensive maintenance of the train.
The service would resume on Wednesday, he assured, adding that the corporation "highly regrets any inconvenience this may cause our esteemed passengers.”
