The Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN) yesterday berated the United States (US) Secretary of States, Mr. John Kerry over his visit to the country. It alleged that the visit was discriminatory, personal and divisive.
CAN alleged that the visit was targeted to sustain the persecution of Christians.
Kerry’s two-day visit has attracted condemnation from Christian leaders who question his sincerity.
During the visit, Kerry visited the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, met with the 19 northern governors, three of whom are Christians. At the Presidential Villa, where he was hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari, Kerry met with select northern governors, which also irked critics on the selection process of his hosts.
CAN President Rev. Supo Ayokunle told reporters that Kerry’s action meant lack of respect to the heterogeneous nature of the country. He accused the American official of favouring a section of the country and Muslims to the detriment of the Christian community.
According to Ayokunle, the attitude and disposition of the U.S. Secretary of State and the discrimination he adopted during the visit supports accusations that the President Barack Obama’s administration, alongside Kerry and other strategic U.S. politicians in the Obama’s government openly supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 general elections, which produced the Buhari presidency.
Don't be childish CAN. A person who is not sick does not need a doctor. Only a sick person does. Christians are not trouble makers. So why should Kerry meet with you? He only needs to meet with the trouble makers.

ReplyDeleteWe all know that Obama is a hardcore muslim fundamentalist who set up ISIS a s propagates gay marriage. Nobody should blame the errand boy Kerry. He will only carry out the order of his master. Most of the people in Obama,s administration are atheists with Christian names. I have always warned that any country that accepts a handshake from the US usually burns. Look at Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen. They come in and sow ethnic discord and sell their weapons. That's all that matters to them. These people should be chased away. They are devils and they don't hide it. Christians should go close to Putin of Russia who champions Christianity.

ReplyDeleteJohn Kerry isn't God, he is just another confused politician on a mission to play God. He has gone to those who require a "god" why then are we fretting when we already know whom our God is.
We are not suffering from Polio, terrorist groups occupy 0% of our land's. They need him, we don't. I believe we should be thanking God for his mercies and not being ungrateful.

Gerald you are absolutely correct. America is a confused state and they are looking for people with debased minds to confuse and use as a foothold. We are not being encroached by the desert, our rivers are overflowing and not dried, God fights our battles and we are at peace. So let us not make ado about nothing. If kerry likes let him relocate to the North, they will remain susceptible to hardship because they are persecuting the Almighty God.
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget too soon, the wish and prediction of Nigeria's disintegration by 2015 by USA (though denied). I am suspecting that the ambition and mission is not yet lost on USA. They cannot stop at anything, including 'DISCRIMINATORY VISITS AND COMRADESHIP" to actualize this. But I know that God whom we know and trust, and which USA Govt. does not know, but only trust on their Currency notes, will put things right at His own time. How else can you explain a Country that brazenly legitimizes Gay marriage, contrary to Biblical injunctions?
