Poor Electricity Supply: My Children Have Heat Rashes - Fashola Cries Out

Minister of Power,Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola claimed that his children are also facing the effects of the poor electricity supply.

During an appearance on CHANNELS TV Fashola said, "It's a very hot season of the year. I see my children too sweating, having heat rash and they look at me like what are you doing about this thing. Let me be very clear, this problem can be solved.

''It needs detailed and methodical approach. First work to do is to supply more gas because without gas, I am like a generator owner who can't get fuel, so I can't power my plants. There are errors of planning of yesterday but they are errors that can be corrected."

  1. Imagine this Ape looking for pity. Fashola, you are a disgrace by using your children to get pity. I know your house runs on 24hrs Powered Generator and Inverter system, I know the company that services your generator. Why not go straight and explain the gas issue than looking for pity. I think according to you " a serious government should be a able to fix the National power within six months". What have you been doing for the past six months? The fact about you leaders is that you talk before you reason(think). We know that despite the National Assembly asking you not to increase the tariff, you and the discos went ahead and increased the readings, calling it estimated readings. You have nothing to offer in the power sector. The best portfolio for you should have been the Minister of FCT or Attorney General. Engr Adebo

  15. All we are saying is to give us power to turn things around. While you are governing Lagos State, you embarked on independent power project situate at Marina that supplies government institutions like the General Hospital, Lagos Island maternity Hospital etc. Please replicate the same thing and enhance the national grid for the benefit of Nigerians you promised to lead out of suffering.

  16. Nigerian need to make drastic turn around and learn judge right. We must face the fact all are our leaders, the past made a lot of mistakes which' ccreating backlog for the present administration but having said that, we must take this issue of corruption as the greatest disease to be eradicated at all level and be reluctant to continue the we have for some decades now. Without channeling our oil Industry towards the right direction then what are we saying. It's quite amazing to comments on the effort of our Minister of Works and Housing which I as an individual is detested. Lets have critical look from where problems are essential among our leaders. Please you all expose all crafty deals if any and be an eye to watch those who are still leading fraudulent system and let them know, this is not business as usual but that our individual and collective cooperation is indeed what will get this country out of its present predicament. Nigeria must be liberated for our leaders to credit worthy or else. No country is ready to accept irresponsible government and people. Please save Nigeria for youto be at peace with yourself and family.
