PICTURES: President Buhari arrives Equitorial Guinea on a 2-day visit


President Buhari arrived Malabo, Equitorial Guinea yesterday evening where he will be meeting with President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to discuss measures to protect the people and resources of the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.



The president was received at the Malabo International Airport by H.E Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Pres of Equatorial Guinea. On the President's entourage are the Minister of State Foreign Affairs Hajia Khadija Ibrahim, Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, Minister of Defence Monsur Dan Ali and National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno.

  1. If the President went to discuss the affairs of the Niger Delta people in Equatorial Guinea, why is there not a single person representing the interest and concerns of the people of the area not in the entourage/ Do these people no more have a voice in the present Nigeria?

  2. If the president went to Equatorial Guinea to represent the interest of the Niger Delta people, why is there no single person from the area who are actually affected, not in the entourage. Does it mean this set of people have no more voice in the present Nigeria, even in things which concern them?
