Building Collapse: Lekki Gardens condoles with victims’ families

Following yesterday’s collapse of a five storey building in Lekki area of Lagos State, owners of the building, the Lekki Gardens, has condoled with the families whose loved ones were lost to the tragedy.


The organisation in a statement on Wednesday, said: “The Management and Staff of Lekki Gardens will like to express heartfelt condolences to the families of their loved ones who lost their lives in the collapsed building yesterday.

We are devastated at the news of their death. “The Management is working with all the appropriate authorities and will not leave any stone unturned to find out the exact cause of the incident.

“To Lekki Gardens, every life counts and as a reputable organisation we will continue as it is usual with policy to implement safety standards and put measures in place to forestall a re-occurrence of this fatal incident in the future.

“Lekki Gardens has been in the business of residential property development and till date has successfully completed and delivered over 6,000 units of houses across Lagos, Ogun, Rivers State and the Federal Capital territory, Abuja in the past 4 years and most of them already occupied.

“Once again, the Management and staff of Lekki Gardens sincerely sympathize with the families of those who lost their lives. The company will do all in its power to ensure that those injured are fully supported.”

  2. This are things that happen under PDP but they will sweep them under the carpet. Many things happen but they do not have the courage to tame the tread.Thank God will have a responsible government.everybody must sit tight.

I recall that Mr lie Lia Muhammed once accused the media of supporting the BH boys bcos they unfold the death of 105 Nigeria soldiers that was killed by the BH boy. Here u are talking nonsense
