REVEALED: Full details of Vice President, Osinbajo's assets

Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, also joined President Muhammdu Buhari Thursday night to declare his assets.

A statement by the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu said that prior to being sworn in on May 29, Prof. Osinbajo’s assets are:

*A bank balance of about N94 million and 900,000 United States Dollars in his bank accounts.

* Houses: 4-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City, Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at 2 Mosley Road, Ikoyi; 2-bedroom flat at Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.

*Others: Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria.

By declaring their assets, the statement said that President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo may have not only fulfilled the requirements of the Nigerian Constitution, but also fulfilled the first of their many campaign promises.

It noted that while seeking election into the highest office in the land, the President had promised Nigerians that he would publicly declare his assets as soon as he took over government.

  2. This is the change that will benefit all Nigerians. Compare to GEJ who said he will not publicly declare his assets and he doesn't give a damn what Nigerians may say about it. But haters will continue to hate instead of joining the change movt that will benefit their future. They keep mourning GEJ loss but GEJ is sitting and enjoying his undeclared loot which haters or their children will never benefit from.

    1. who says GEJ did not declare assets? will Buhari and his vice declare assets on their way out? and if they do who will prove to the world that they have stolen funds or not?

We should focus more on things that add value to the average Nigerian than adding value to ourselves as leaders,

Buhari and co, Let your light so shine that men will see your good works and glorify your father (Jehovah or Allah) in heaven

Nigerians open your eyes and hold your leaders accountable for any trace of want in all sectors of the economy

      God bless Nigeria!
