Few weeks ago, Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose said he would gladly appoint illiterates such as Okada riders, farmers into his cabinet without looking back because they voted massively for him which in turn made him a governor today, and he has kept his promise today by appointing a farmer as Caretaker Chairman of Moba local government.
He also went on to Twitter to share the news with his followers.
Fayose also stated that not being educated does not make them less intelligent. He also says he is not someone who will ‘use’ people and then dump ‘them’.

ReplyDeleteMr Fayose,you need to see yourself through reflection to realize how you ridicule yourself and the people of Ekiti. Your position is not an instrument to compensate or punish individuals for their deeds towards you,rather it is a mandate for you to control and disburse public services to the people you govern. I remember you started enticing the public by dishing out water in small tanks all over the places in Ado-Ekiti in those days, as if telling them,'Poor folks,I can see your suffering I'll run water into your homes when I get there'. But alas,it turned to be a gimmick!
ReplyDeleteMaking an illiterate farmer a local govt chairman or an okada rider commissioner does not benefit all farmers and okada riders. These people may have intellect,but without education they cannot be productive. If the intellect is the only ingredient you can as well abolish all formal institution of learning in the State.
