PDP is the most corrupt party in Africa – APC

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State has alleged that the immediate past Peoples Democratic Party PDP-led government as people whose looting of government finances is ”unequalled in the history of corrupt governments in Africa.

“Yet, some of the beneficiaries of this looting spree across Nigeria, especially in Osun State, still have the effrontery to mock the victims of their crimes by shifting blames of this catastrophe on a government that had done the best for the people in Osun since this state was created,” the APC said.

The Director Publicity of APC, Mr Kunle Oyatomi was reacting to the publication yesterday in many national newspapers that over three trillion naira of NNPC fund was not paid into the federation account by the immediate past minister of petroleum, Mrs Dieziani Allison-Madueke..

The party stated that, “The leadership of the PDP in Osun were recipients of the looted funds which would have been available to pay salaries if the PDP government of Goodluck Jonathan did not steal such humongous sums and wasted the nation’s resources in the most expensive party campaign for retaining political power that has ever been seen in the continent of Africa.

The statement read in part: “From the NNPC alone, trillions of Naira is said to be missing. The ex-minister of Finance was also alleged to have spent billions of dollars without authorization not to talk of other agencies of the Federal Government which joined in the looting spree.’’
