  1. So. what exactly is his offence, holding a quran or loitering? This sounds very childish. Both the Chief Magistrate and the Inspector should be relieved of their duties for stupidity. I'm a christian but I have a copy of the quran in my house. Should I then be arrested?

    2. So what offence has this man committed? When the police interrogated him and found nothing suspicious to hold him, they should have let him go. But to charge him with public nuisance because he was carrying a quoran in the church premises is totally insane.

  2. You are so stupid and unreasonable. Mr Anoynymois 8:21 pm
How could you go into a religious place of worship and openly display the scriptures of another faith.
The man should be questioned very well

  3. Now if u say reading a Qur'an is wrong for a Christian, hw do u compare both faiths? Haven't u see Imams or Pastors quoting from the two holy book. Anyway, if he had entered the church dear down and was with his holy book, d best I expected is to watch him closely. May b he is disturbed for pasting....but d truth is hw do u convert pple is dey all hav to end in court. I hav been to d Mosque b4 with ma bible during a naming and nothing happen............ Above all only God knows who is clean and will make heaven. Lets reason as one.....Christian or Muslim....peace.

  4. The suspect is up to something evil. He wants to provoke some sort of religious war. I hope this is not a sign of onset of boko haram in the south west. Authorities should take this seriously and be on alert lest we sleepwalk into religious anarchy and boko haramism.

  6. I didn't see anything wrong with that, moreover we worship the same God but in different ways, since the man in question did do anything stupid by discredit or preach in the church with his Koran then the case is just a fluke, the IPO don't knw his duties.

  8. Please, let's be civilized and read in between lines. The caption of this news is entirely DIFFERENT FROM the content. I guess the news reporter chose a caption that WILL sell. If you are found loitering even in your vicinity with no reasonable excuses. I believe it calls for concern. This is common sense

  9. We should be moderate and reasonable in analyzing issues. war or fight starts in a lithe way. They didn't say he sat down rather, he was littering the place with QURAN, that is public nuisance, isn't it?

  10. Basically... Charging him to court is wrong and a violation of human right of freedom of movement. What should be done at most is to quiz him real hard and keep him under watch. More of secret intelligent thing. What if he was mentally or spiritually disturbed and he needs some help or answers. I think Nigerians need to be more dimensional in the thinking patterns. Whatever the case, May Almighty father protect us all.

    1. It's 2 different gods. One sent his son to save the whole world including anyone who accepts him to be the son of God and accepts that he died and rose on the 3rd day. The other god sent Muhammad and has no son. The 2 gods can't be the same otherwise he will be contradicting himself and confusing humans.

  12. The question here should be what were his motives when he went to church with a copy of the Qur'an. From there the of fence could be established. Nothing is wrong with a christian possessing a Qur'an or vice versa, but when the motives become sinister, many things could be wrong with it.
