The House of Representatives is currently in a rowdy session over the nomination of other principal officers of the House.
NigerianEye gathered that members of House of Representatives were fighting in presence of some secondary school students who are on an excursion to the National Assembly.

Many of the representatives can be seen shielding Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and chanting: Dogara! Dogara!! Others are chanting APC! APC!!, stressing party supremacy Some members had attempted to remove the maze but it was rebuffed by Dogara’s supporters.
At the plenary of the House on Thursday, the tension and divided interest among the legislators led to a brawl, which is still ongoing as of the time of filing this report, between the two factions in the chamber.
At the heart of the fighting is the leadership crisis, which has engulfed the House since the controversial inauguration of the National Assembly.
It is learnt that the Mace has however been ferried to the inner office of the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
