REVEALED: 'Jonathan bribed pastors with ₦7 Billion, not ₦6 Billion'

A Borno-based Pastor, Kallamu Musa-Dikwa, said on Thursday that the money that was given to pastors by the President was actually N7bn and not N6bn as alleged by Amaechi, who doubles as the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation.

Amaechi had alleged that unnamed leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party paid N6bn to Christian clerics to campaign against Buhari and the APC.

The governor’s allegation caused a stir among the Christian clerics, with the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and the Northern State Christian Elders Forum asking Amaechi to name the church leaders, who collected the huge bribe.

But Musa-Dikwa, who is the Executive Director of the Voice of Northern Christian Movement, told journalists in Kaduna on Thursday that the said money was channelled through the Christian Association of Nigeria.

He said the CAN got the said money(N7bn) on January 26, 2015 and disbursed N3m to each State Chairmen of the CAN across the country.

Musa-Dikwa, who was an Associate Pastor with the E. Y. N. Church, Farm Centre, Dikwa Road, Maiduguri, Borno State, under Rev. Emmanuel Kwajihe between 2002 and 2004, said the CAN had started threatening Christians in the state (Borno) that they must re-elect Jonathan in the rescheduled election.

He said, “It was N7bn that was given to the CAN leadership by President Goodluck Jonathan. They(CAN) later disbursed N3m to the State Chairmen of the CAN.

“The money was handed over to the CAN Leadership on 26th January, 2015.”

“Actually, President Jonathan is using CAN President, and it was the CAN President who collected the monies and shared N3m to the CAN executives in each state.

“And some Pentecostal Bishops also collected their share. Actually, the money is not N6bn, it is N7bn. This is what I know. One of the CAN officials from Abuja told me that they have collected the money. The corruption in CAN is terrible. They are corrupting the body of Christ because of money.

“They are now threatening Christians in Borno State that they will deal with anybody, who refuses to vote for Jonathan. And the CAN officials are now campaigning that if Buhari emerges President, he will Islamise Nigeria; and that Osinbajo collected monies from Islamic world; and that the same Osinbajo will resign soon after Buhari wins to give way for Tinubu to emerge Vice President.”

Musa-Dikwa named some high-profile clerics, who had benefitted from the controversial largesse to actualise the re-election bid of Jonathan.

  1. Buhari is God sent.
He purposely made GMB to fail the previous elections so that the looters commit more atrocities so that Nigerians will be convince about the change that is imminent. Wa-oh, what a country.
I am a Christian but I think very soon this wind of change may also change my religion.

    9. Well folks let's face the real issue. Your vote should be your conscience so no pastor or imam can tell me who to vote for. You can change religion as you like because religion cannot make life fulfilling. The religious leaders were the ones that crucified Jesus. Being a Christian is as a result of an encounter with Christ. Buhari may be likened to Cyrus but the Pharisees in CAN may prefer Barabbas. Now see how they sold their honour.

  2. So why tell us? Either you collect your share or you go to court. What do you want us to do? How much did Buhari give you? He lies by claiming he does not have money, but his wife doles out billions of naira. Which of them is better; one whose case is still a rumour or one who is a liar?

  3. I weep for the body of Christ! How can CAN stoop so low to allow itself to be used for political purposes? Is that what Christ stands for? If the story making the rounds is anything to go by, some Pentecostal Bishops are also involved in this unwholesome practice. It is, indeed, a shame to the Christian faith. Haba! What a mess! Really, the road to eternal destruction is getting wider by the day and those who are going through it are also increasing by the day. My plea to all God-fearing Christians is not to allow themselves to be soiled by the affairs of this world.

It all goes to confirm what Christ said the book of Matthew that in the last days a lot of Christians would be deceived and fall prey to the antics of the devil who is moving about like a roaring lion seeking whom it may devour. And now the devil has really found many to devour.

Let the mercy of God continue to be on those who are standing firm in these last days. The Anti-Christ has not really started and yet many, thousands, are now falling. What a shame!

Can he and his cohorts go to court with their proofs so that Jonathan can be tried for bribery just is an offence in our constitution. Don't believe every cabbage you read on Nigerianeyes, they are strongly anti- Jonathan, check for same headline in THISDAY NEWSPAPER, PUNCH OR GUARDIAN and tell me your findings. 15. Whether we like it or not, one cannot fight the truth.

GEJ is a patholigical liar and a highly deceptive individual.

GEJ secured the PDP 2011 mandate by deception (i.e. 419) in that without being compelled, he declared his intention not to seek for second term and declared with his mouth that his tenure will end May 2015 with BBC UK also carrying the story on 01/02/2011. That means, GEJ committed 419.

I have checked and confirmed via google that this story is still on BBC UK website.

Based on the promise and declaration by GEJ back in 2011, Nigerians voted for him, then suddenly his true 419 color showed. Not only did he underperformed, he also condoned corruption even more than NPN back in the 1979-1983.

Let's face the fact, GEJ belongs to the father of liars. He now leads a propaganda outfit to swindle Nigerians at all cost.

If someone is pathologically deceitful, it will dangerous to rely on any of his words or to ever take the fellow seriously or believe in the fellow in anyway.

Have you heard what he told the world, he said the Ekitigate tape is fabrication, and that is why he will not investigate or probe it. Amazingly deceitful and stupid (please pardon my French language). The simple question then is, how did GEJ determine that the tapes were fabricated in the light of all the evidences and forensic confirmation of the voices coupled with admission on part of some of the individuals involved that indeed they held the secret meeting.

Indeed, a leader may have at his/her disposal the People’s cum Nation's resources to spend (and even squander) all in the name of Projects. However, there are crucial things that a leader on his/her own part must bring to that table/seat of leadership which are namely, righteousness, honesty, integrity, character (must be a man/woman of his/her words either in secret or in the open), hatred for sin, hatred for corruption, hatred for hypocrisy, courage (not an ostrich like leader that will be busy burying head in the sand), empathy, etc.

    The Bible in Proverbs 6:16-19 states that;
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Assessing GEJ on all the aforementioned shows that God can never and will never support and individual like GEJ unless God himself is a liar which can never be so.

GEJ is morally bankrupt, that is a truth that we cannot fight or else we will never be free. Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. It’s only righteousness that will exalt our Nation and I will never accept anything less from any leader voted into power.

I bet my millions on this fact that by the time GEJ is out of power, the new Government will be saddled with huge sums of promissory notes on contracts that have been implemented at ridiculously inflated prices in order for GEJ to try impressing Nigerians within a span of just few months after seeing he has been rejected by us.

GEJ is seriously mounting massive internal debt on Nigerians via hurriedly negotiated contracts at whatever cost in order to fool Nigerians.

GEJ is continuously secretly on a daily basis plunging us into more debt that it will take many generations to repay.

GEJ should have taken the noble part and sponsor someone else as PDP Presidential Candidate rather than wasting millions of precious Naira all in the name of Transformation Agenda Propaganda.

GEJ should have been a man of his words.

  21. With all the facts surfacing at this time, it shows that GEJ and GMB are wrong candidates for the progress of Nigeria.
They are both surrounded by evil. No wonder Muslim Cleric in person of sheikh Gunmi, advised both GEJ and GMB to refrain from contesting for the post of the president.
Unfortunately no one single Christian pastor in Nigeria could advise GEJ and GMB to do the same.
If the 7 billion naira saga is true, then it is unfortunate for the Christian Community.
It is high time we Nigerians rise up and say no to GEJ and GMB. These two candidates are surrounded by blood and innocent lives have been lost because of their lust for power. Imagine what is going on now at the campaign with the lost of innocent lives. It is better to reject them now because we don't know who will die next in Nigeria because of them.

Obviously, GEJ is a corrupt politician who has done nothing tangible for the people for the past 6yrs. But what can u say against Buhari? If u were not born or not old enough in 1983-1985 when he was in power as a military man, when he had all the power to loot the treasury but he chose to adopt War Against Indiscipline policy alongside his then deputy Tunde Idiagbon(RIP), u should go ask ur elders at home and they would confirm this.
Every african politician is a gamble but Buhari is a far far better gamble in my opinion.

  23. We know politics and religion are mixed-up in Nigeria. If CAN/PFN Leaderships have led by Christ-like examples, they would not have been dragged into a mess like this. If we are not sure about this, what of the news of Nigerian pastors collecting and sharing money meant for the advancement of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ during crusades organized by servants of God like Pastor Benny Hinn and Evangelist Reinhhard Bonkke. We have heard of so called pastors who embezzle church fund or defraud unsuspecting church members. It is clear for anybody who cares to see who CAN/PFN Leaderships support for the forthcoming presidential election. Nothing any pastor does or fails to do will make me turn back from following the Lord. I do not seek to be like anybody, I seek to be like Christ Who shed His precious blood for me on the cross of calvary. All I know is that I am not voting for Dr Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan in the forthcoming election. May the peace of God be upon Nigeria and may the God of Heavens and Earth put all the enemies of the peace, progress and prosperity of Nigeria to shame in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

  29. It's really unfortunate how Christianity in Nigeria is now being led by people who are known to have history of inordinate ambition.

Going by warnings in the Book of Revelation, what the Nigerian Church is involving itself in today will definitely lead to its ultimate demise. The CAN/PFN hardly reproves evil (Ephesians 5:11-13) and majority of their membership today are known to eagerly dip their hands into iniquity.

Majority of the CAN/PFN membership have totally lost focus and thus rather than retrace their steps back to the source of Spiritual Power and relevance which rules the Physical, they are busy struggling with the prince of this world for worldly power and recognition since they have lost their spiritual power and spiritual relevance.

Though the Lord Jesus declared that the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church, but, when the Nigerian Church continues in its ways and path of iniquity just in the same way that the Church in Countries like Britain and most Countries in Europe did, the Church in Nigeria will eventually destroy itself. Is it not an irony that the same Europe that evangelized Africa is now being Evangelised by Africans. It shows that the Church in Europe destroyed itself by collaborating with their Governments to perpetuate evil in their Colonies.

By this, the greatest threat to the Nigerian Church today are those Christians who condone iniquity and evil. Let us remember this, when the ways of the Church pleases God, He will make even her enemies to be at peace with her (Proverbs 16:7).

It's thus absurd for any Christian to claim that an individual can wipe out Christianity in Nigeria. It shows that those so-called Christians are not real students of the Bible, if so they would have known the verse that says, Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Also that, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God.

By this, any professing Christian that spreads propaganda that an individual can wipe out Christianity in Nigeria is only demonstrating the fact that they do not really know this our God, that He is an awesome God. They are only close to God with their mouth while their hearts are far far away from God. And this is the character of GEJ. GEJ confesses God but by his actions/inactions denies the very existence of God and also denies the power of God. GEJ is thus nothing but an hypocrite.

GEJ is morally bankrupt, a pathological liar and highly deceptive individual. And that is a truth that we cannot fight or else we will never be free. GEJ is a wolf in sheep clothing. GEJ condoned corruption even more than NPN back in the 1979-1983.

Please, does anyone know GEJ's real Pastor. I am not referring to those Pastors in official capacity.

GEJ secured the PDP 2011 mandate by deception in that without being compelled, he declared his intention not to seek for 2nd term and declared with his mouth that his tenure will end May 2015 with BBC UK also carrying the story on 01/02/2011. That means, GEJ committed 419.

Assessing GEJ on all the aforementioned shows that God can never and will never support and individual like GEJ unless God himself is a liar which can never be so.
