We’ve shared ‘missing money’ - Governor Akpabio

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Godswill Akpabio, has said the alleged missing money from the treasury has been shared by all the governors.

Akpabio, who is the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Forum, said this at the PDP presidential campaign rally holding in Lagos.

The governor said the alleged missing money was a propaganda tool created by the All Progressives Congress.

He said the money which was about 55bn was shared because of the needs of the people in their states.

He however did not say whether it was Naira or Dollars.

  2. This is insanity of the highest order. Why is this parrot Gov taking the sensibility of Nigerians for granted? The issue of the missing money had been in the public domain now for over 2 months and nothing was said about it. Now, he is telling us "we shared the money" how senseless! For us to believe that he is saying the truth, let them publish the report of the investigation carried out about the money.

  4. Nigerians, be wise.
If the 55 bn were in naira then it would be equivalent to 366million dollars.
Sanusi said about 15 billion dollars were missing.
How did they share this money when the state governments were almost bankrupt throughout last year?

  5. This man thinks we are fools. It is either he is a liar or that the money has been shared recently by the pdp governors(obviously as a war chest to silence people's conscience in the election). I think the money has just returned to our shore.
Please vote for a good idea not goodluck.
