VIDEO: 'The 10 things you didn’t know about my father' - Buhari's daughter, Halima reveals

Halima Buhari, daughter of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari speaks about her father in this video interview with Lola Shoneyin.

Watch video below...

What type of father is he?
· He is very realistic and tells you exactly how it is.
·He likes cracking jokes.
·He is very caring and sensitive to our feelings.
· He does not coerce us to do anything we don’t want to do.
· He is very understanding unlike what people believe.
·He has a very soft side.

What type of grandfather is he?
·He cares a lot about his grandchildren and plays with them even more than he does with his own children.
·He is very fond of his grand children.
·He gives them all sorts of funny traditional names.

What kind of president will he be?
This is a democratic era, not 1983 – the military regime, so he will certainly be more tolerant and passionate about leading Nigeria and getting it out of every mess that it has seen, the corruption and insecurity which is making thousands of Nigerians lose their lives and is affecting everyone in one way or another.
He will tackle it and make sure he gets his job done.

  16. I have learnt a lot from the Buhari certificate
brouhaha. Since it happened I started looking for
    all
my certificate. Infact I have safely kept the receipt
for my jamb form, post jamb, lecture notes,
textbook, photos, my signing out white vest, NYSC
khaki, and jungle boot too. Who knows anybody
may request for it. If someone who schooled before
independence can be asked to present his
certificate, who am I? If you are lucky enough to
    still
have your secondary school uniform and sandal,
please keep it. Who knows, any clueless person
    can
    ask for it.

    Mark!

  17. Just wondering why some Nigerians are still in bondage . Don't just understand why blind citizens are willing to destroy the future of Nigeria . Jonatharn rules Nigeria for six years without achieving anything and someone people are still willing to vote for him. However, the Ex president Olusegun Obasanjo spoke yesterday that during his tenure , he personally verified Buhari's certificate and it was not forged. When this gentle man was the head of PTF everything was transparent. He performed excellently beyond our expectation , and I strongly believe that he ll do better as a president . I don't blame some irrational Nigerians because some fools shall always be among the genius . One thing is sure , the best candidate shall prevail .

    1. So what on earth makes you think we'll believe the very cunny and grossly stupid Obasanjo! I rather believe my Dog than believe him! He's a huge part of the rot keeping the country like this! Go ask his daughter if you doubt me!

    1. Mike GEJ doesn't have a PhD, he dropped out before he could finish. He should submit himself to the police and honorably withdraw from the race for lying to us that he has a PhD, under oath

  20. let us not be too sentiment in our day to day deallings if ur brother is not doing it well lets open up rather than dieing in silence Buhari has done it before am very optimistic that he can do it again jonathan has failed even his late sister.

  21. All the comments are okay but most are sentimental. Every President that rules must achieve one thing or the other so let us not deceive ourselves by denying that. All we need to do is "Pray" to GOD/Allah for HiS will to be done.

  22. Coaco nut heads. Buhari has just married his daughters friend what a father! No wonder the wife was not happy at the Ogun state presidential rally you can see she was not happy. Anyway this forged certificate is a big issue and Nigeria will follow it to its logical conclusion.

Tell me that Buhari is actually 100 years old I will still vote for Buhari.

Tell me that Buhari has AIDS, EBOLA, MARBUG, HEPATITIS, CANCER OF ALL HIS ORGANS, KURU, AND MAD COW DISEASE. I will still vote for Buhari.

Tell me Buhari jailed every single Nigerian that was alive during his tenure, I will still vote for Buhari.

Tell me that during Buhari's tenure people had to apply to government and get approval before they urinate, defecate, eat or drink,

  26. Idiots, hanging on to a none issue. All the evidence proves GMB took and passed the equivalent of WAEC in 1961, was already a leader then as Head Boy, and went on to a distinguished military career. Jonathan? PhD in Zoology, and so attracts animals as sycophants.

  27. @anonymous 6.53am
well, no one can stop u from voting 4 GMB, but I hope dat after 4years u'll be looking & praying 4 him to die so we can have a change
1 thing I remember so very clearly is dat wen a leader is in power, he's either the most corrupt, incompetent or unfit 4d job irrespective of his strides & attempts to move d nation 4ward, but wen d new person comes on board we begin to wish for d former - sometimes even calling d best thing that happened to us
my advice, appreciate what u have b4 u loose & be careful what u wish 4
    GOD BLESS NIGERIA!
