Ikechukwu Uche has signed a contract extension at Villarreal until 2017, the player has revealed.
The Nigeria international, who joined the Spanish based outfit in 2011, has scored four La Liga goals so far this season and has expressed his delight at penning a new deal at El Madrigal.
“I feel very happy for my renewal with Villarreal until 2017! I will do my best to help the team!,” Uche wrote on Twitter.
Uche scored 14 league goals last season and has played a key role in the team’s impressive run in the Europa League.
