No fewer than fifteen persons have been confirmed dead in a ghastly motor accident at Oji River in Enugu State.
Our correspondent learnt that the fatal crash occurred along the old Enugu-Onitsha expressway on Friday.
It was gathered that the accident occurred when a truck ran into a Toyota Siena bus.
The Public Relations Officer of the Enugu State Police Command, Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the development, disclosed on Saturday that the police evacuated about 15 bodies at the scene of the accident.
Amaraizu explained that the driver of a truck lost control of the brakes.
The driver of the truck has been arrested, while the police has commenced investigations into the incident, according to the police spokesman.
