When he left pdp I knew it was an error and I was more than saddened. We hv never spoken against each other

Once again I heartily welcome brother Femi back & I profoundly & affectionately wish him well.

It can be recalled that in a surprising turn of event yesterday, former Minister of Aviation and one of the fiercest critics of President Goodluck Jonathan, Femi Fani Kayode yesterday visited the Presidential Villa where he held private discussions with the President

Though he declined to divulge what he discussed with the President, Femi Fani-Kayode told state House Correspondents that every Nigerian who feel strongly about an issue should be able to discuss with the president about it.

“This is a presidential villa, the president is a president of Nigeria every single person in this country that is a Nigerian is entitled to come here from time to time, when the doors are open to come and pay their respect to the wonderful people that are here as a Nigerian I have done that today and I’m delighted to be here.

“I have always believed that every Nigerian regardless of the side of the political divide they belong, and as a Nigerian myself I have believed that we disagree on an issue from time to time. The most important thing is for us to be able to resolve these issues come together to move this country forward. And I think every right thinking responsible person should be able to do that.

They should also be able to come to the villa from time to time to see how they can help to move the country forward .

On if he is leaving APC, Femi Fani-Kayode said “the step that I will take will be made known to Nigerians at the right time. The most important thing, and I think you are fully aware of this, is that I cannot and I will not be associated with a situation whereby any group of people is promoting a religion above another. I think all of us have gone past the stage of religious politics in this country. We must treat the Muslim community with utmost respect and we must that Christian community in the same way and even the non-religious” he said.

FFK also had this to say on his Facebook page

I was at the Villa yesterday and what transpired there has been the subject of much online speculation. What I said to the media whilst there was very clear and I chose my words carefully. Let those that are interested read those words in today's newspapers rather than speculate. Other than that I will say no more on this matter until I am ready to do so.

  1. Good talk. Doyin once said that he knew nothing about poverty right from his youth to present day. FFK also belongs to that same group and he should not have fiddled with the Aviation fund when he was minister. FFK was a mole in the APC. I doubt if the people realised that. They need to now change their strategy. FFK and his parents were never in any progressive party and the sudden change to APC should have made the people to watch out for him. Ile laawo, kato somo loruko.

  2. FFK is a political prostitute jumping from one party to another, I believe the remaining of them will soon join him to the larger family

  4. It is always expected, we all know that FFK is now under the radar for his role in the avaition meltdown, you may now be wondering what he would have gone to aso rock to discuss - drop the charges and I will decamp shikena, i am sure we will hear less about his travails now with the EFCC but Nigerians i guess are watching..

  5. So did Jonathan promise to drop the theft charges against Fani-Kayode? I imagine that that was the subject of his talk with the President. All thieves need to move to PDP because that's where they belong.

  9. From all your comments, it's so obvious that all of you will do the same as FFK. The man is being human and playing the survival game. No matter how much you disagree with his ideologies and attitude, I believe you all will do same if you are in his shoes.
