Common entrance exams won’t affect sanitation day – Lagos state govt

Lagos State government, has said the 2014 National Common Entrance Examination, NCEE, into Federal Government Colleges, FGC, and otherwise known as Unity Schools holding nationwide tomorrow will not affect the April monthly environmental sanitation exercise, noting that the exercise would hold between the hours of 7:00am and 10am across the state.

There were insinuations that sanitation exercise had been put off to enable parents and guardians ensure their children and wards got to their respective examination centres promptly.

In fact, the state government had earlier announced that the 2014 NCEE into FGCs would hold Saturday (April 26, 2014) at designated centres across the state and urged parents to ensure that their children got to their respective centres promptly.

While insisting on the exercise, Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello, said the clarification became necessary following insinuations from some quarters that the April edition had been cancelled.
