All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil, Nigeria’s controversial preacher and former presidential candidate, Chris Okotie, told his congregation on Sunday, leaving members bewildered.
Fifty-five year old Okotie, while preaching in his Household of God Church in Ikeja area of Lagos, western Nigeria, said the Catholic church is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body.”
“They are not Christians and have never been,” Okotie told a stunned congregation.
“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said.
He said Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ who does the job of the devil and that time is fast approaching when the Catholic church will pledge allegiance to Satan.
“The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times,” Okotie erupted.
He advised members of his church to come to the rescue of Catholics and evangelise them.
This, he said, was not out of disrespect but out of respect for the word of God.
He said those who know the truth should bring it to those who do not know it in the Catholic Church.
Okotie said one of the Catholic most revered Popes, Pope John Paul 11, surrendered the Catholic Church to Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, instead of Jesus himself. He said even the current Pope Francis has also done same.
He said Catholics are not Christians and do not worship the same Christ that he preaches in his church, at least the one spoken about in the Bible.
Okotie said he did not write the Bible but it was clear to him that those in the Catholic church were lost and were heading to hell fire.
“They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” Okotie said.
“That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,”Okotie said.
Okotie who has been married twice and divorced also twice said a beauty pageant will take place in his church next Sunday to select the most beautiful woman in his church.
He also said his yearly “Grace programme” where he makes donations to charity organisations will also take place next Sunday.
The once rock star turned celebrity preacher and politician has been controversial for years.
He once said it was the devil who told him for the first time that he was going to be a preacher.
He also said Nigeria’s famous preacher Prophet T.B. Joshua is the son of the devil and his followers will go straight to hell.
In recent years, he has been saying that God has anointed him to be Nigeria’s president. That prophecy has not come to pass in two presidential elections that he participated in.

Seriously, why do we just keep quiet and let them carry on deceiving themselves?
They have believed a lie and if not saved, will suffer for it.
I was born into the Catholic church. I grew and was tutored there. It was there that i was thought that there is only one God and he alone shall we worship. It was there that i was thought that we should not bow in worship to any image or likeness of man. It was there that i was thought that Mary should not and cannot be worshiped. It was there that i learn that you can not worship God and money at the same time as is the practice among men today. All these teachings i received were backed up by the law of the church. So which aspect of the Catholic church is vexing ppl to condemn it so much. I think the major problem is not with the non-Catholics but with Catholics who don't really know what their faith is all about. No Saint is worshiped in the Catholic Church and no object is worshiped in the Catholic Church. If you really want to know the rights or wrong of the Catholic Church, you need to free your mind from prejudice and allow ursef to be led by the Holy Spirit for understanding cos most things in the Catholic Church which you see us doing are just symbolic manifestation of a purely spiritual exercise. May God guide you in the quest for more knowledge.

ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that the catholic church has a lot of practices/beliefs that are not biblical (intercession to mary, purgatory, literally eating jesus's body, etc), I think it is unfair to say that they are all going to hell. You do not know the heart of each individual. There are some catholics for example that know that Jesus is the only way to the father, not through mary. Do not make blanket statements like that, all that does is anger people.

Hello anonymous here, I understand clearly what you're tryin 2say...bt Jesus was talkin about him being lifted up at crucifixion not after ascension to heaven, and don't justify d mouldin of any representin image usin d old testament (covenant), when we use scriptures to defend ourselves, let us be careful so dt we don't misquote...I pray God's Spirit in us will giv us a better understanding.

Fulton Sheen to him "There will be 3- surprises in heaven when we die: 1) Those you think won't make it will be there. (2) People who think they will make it and those wee too think will make it won't be there. (3) I myself MUST be there."

Chris is not a true man of God because if he was truly called by God he will never preach against any church or condemn any church. I only pity his congregation because he is leading them astray instead of preaching love, his preaching conflict and hatred. Chris is suppose to be an ambassador of Christ and not of destruction. I am a Catholic and will always be a Catholic no matter what you say or criticise the Catholic Church. I only know one God and only him I serve. I only pity those who leave their churches to join other churches all in the name of prosperity and that is why Chris has the gods to talk about the Catholic church. He is only deceiving his congregation. This is end time and we all need to be very careful because the bible said not all who call me Lord Lord or preach in my shall see the kingdom of God. The same bible said do not judge so that you too will not be judged. GOD said touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm but what Chris is doing is destroying rather than bringing people together.
