Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, including Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, visited former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu in the United Kingdom, where he is recuperating after a knee surgery.

Mr. Tinubu, who has been out of Nigeria since July, had the surgery in the United States the following month after which he moved to London, to recuperate.

Apart from Mr. Buhari, those who visited the former Lagos State governor, himself a leader of APC, were Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Senators Babafemi Ojudu, Bunmi Adetumbi, Jide Adesoye, Tony Adeniyi and Kemela Okara. At the end of the visit, Mr. Tinubu posed in a group photograph with his visitors.

  10. I wish you a quick recovery. However I must say that Tinubu has by this act acknowledged his failure as a Governor as well as that of the nation Nigeria. After ruling Lagos for eight years it is sad that there is no Hospital where he can have knee surgery.
This tells the whole story of what the leaders of the oil rich nation have been doing with our wealth. What happens if the poor villager need a knee replacement? Who will send him/her to USA or London or Germany etc or to those places with God fearing leaders who will give back to the community ten fold what is expected of them. I assume 2015 will be Buhari's last attempt at the Presidential seat. I hope he gets in so he can correct most of the corruption and indiscipline which has rocked our leadership all these years. For those who will ask why Buhari? my question to you is what do you think Nigeria will ever gain from corrupt leadership? Please bury your religion induced hatred and let the man with proven integrity deliver this corruption ridden Nation before it slides into a point of no return. Buhari, I hope these men around you who see the need to give you support so this time we can sing the victory song.

  12. This is really a time for reflection by our leaders, mandela was down with a life thretening ailment the other time,he was never flown out of south africa, and a leader in nigeria was flown abroad for ordinary kneel surgery, what will happen to millions of poor people if they are down with such and can't afford treatment abroad,we really need to think as a country and put things right as a nation, the bottomline is corruption.God bless 9eja.
